Machines Alive began with a YouTube comment. Nicky found guitarist and producer Jean-Marc Perc through his solo project The Last Cell, got in touch, and travelled to Vienna to work together. The plan was a new Drac Attack! record. What came out instead was a different band.
Progressive rock, sci-fi metal, electronics and cinematic scoring, pulled into one sound by two people who had only just met.
